Prestigious accounting firm now has an immediate opening for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. The desired candidate will be responsible for an office supply and resource client so knowledge and/or previous office supply experience a plus. Datafaction is preferred but will consider resumes without, if the accounts payable experience is strong enough. Computer and internet access required. Pay rate is $10-13/hr DOE.
Responsibilities Include:
Match invoices to receiving and purchase order documents.
Analyze proper general ledger coding
Enter manual invoices and employee expense reports
Generate accounts payable and customer refund checks
Match documentation to checks for payment
Research vendor statements
Account and inventory transaction research
File paid and unpaid invoices and statements
Reconcile bank statements
Responsible for responding to vendor inquiries
Maintain the master vendor files
Prepare bank wires and ACH transaction Domestic Foreign
Reconcile the Accounts Payable aging report to general ledger
Internal/external customer service
Process Year-End tax filings such as 1099s
Other special projects as needed
Experience and Requirements:
3+ years of accounts payable experience
Experience with ERP system preferredDatafaction preferred
Proficient on 10-key
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
MS Office experience
Home Office Requirements:
2.8 GHZ Processor (minimum of a Pentium 4 processor or equivalent processor running at a clock speed of 2.8 GHz)
1 GB of RAM for Windows XP users
2 GB of RAM for Vista users
12 GB of Available Hard drive space
Additional equipment requirements include:
Monitor - 17" Flat Panel Display recommended (capable of 1280 x 1024), 15" min.
At least one free USB port on PC
USB Headset with built in digital signal processor (recommended model types: Plantronics .Audio 750, Plantronics .Audio 650, Plantronics .Audio 625) available locally, or through the Dell store on this site
