I have finished my apron! Horray! We relocated to Sydney from California a few months ago so I'm a little frazzled - but I created this lovely apron for my partner - who likes pink and has adorable daughters. I'm almost ready - just need to whip together a little something for the girls (they are so beautiful) and it will be off in the mail.
It's coming AirMail but it will be there, I promise!
I cannot wait to get my apron, shake a cocktail and party.
I love all the aprons - this is the BEST swap ever - it was worth all the glitches of finding fabric (a little pricey and limited choice here in Oz) - and I send my best wishes to all of you for creating aprons during the hub bub of the holidays.

Are you using the same password for all your web accounts and unsure if its strong enough? Many of us mostly use the same password for all the accounts, but it is important to make sure that the password is strong enough so that nobody is able to hack it. It is always advisable to to keep a different password for all the accounts, but if you want to keep a single password for most of your accounts and make sure that it is secure enough then you will need some software to determine if your password is stronger or not.

Palm Addict has had an online presence on the internet since May 25th 1999 when our basic black on white, one graphic page was hosted by Tripod. Back then we were updated twice a week. The site was then called Online Palm User Club and retained this name until 2001 when I changed the name to Palm Addict. The site was designed, and created in New York City. In August 1999, both I and Andrew Wolstenholme decided we wanted to grow and focus on a website and we decided to focus on Palm Addict [Online Palm User Club]. Initially based on an update a day until Winter 1999 when the site began to be updated on a multiple times a day basis. PalmAddict remains a great hobby for me that has led onto other endevours. Both myself and the site have been very fortunate to have been featured or mentioned within a number of publications since 1999 including Wired Magazine, Sunday Times [UK], New York Times, PC Magazine, FT Tech, Manchester Evening News [UK], Boston Globe, BBC Technology, Money Marketing, FA, Engadget, Slashdot, Gizmodo, Sunday Telegraph [UK]. We have also been at Palm tradeshows especially for PC EXPO in New York City. Sammy also contributes to technology broadcasts on a regular basis and in the last year has appeared on NPR, BBC, RTE [Ireland], Newstalk and Channel 4 in the UK. On March 19th 2007, PalmAddict posted it's 250,000 post since starting the site in May 1999. It has been great fun with the help of a great team of Associate Writers, starting with Eric Mann in 1999. We have always concentrated on Palm devices and always will, no matter what OS they run. I'll continue to update PA for as long as I am interested in the whole mobile technology, and, if I get bored well I don't know but it's been eight years and I still haven't gotten bored yet. PalmAddict looks forward to celebrating it's 10th Birthday in less than a years time.

Whenever we talk about Compassion International some amazing emails come our way. And this one is no different...
Dear Tracey,
I wanted to share with you about my morning. I was on my way to work just drivin and prayin like I do and that morning I just asked God to show me how I can help others. I am so grateful for the amazing love and grace He's shown me in my life and I want to share that with others. So I just prayed that He would use me..however He saw fit. Well...I got into work and ya'll were..talking about the Compassion project. I heard you sharing the stories of these children in need. I knew then...this was something I had to do. I called in this morning and decided to sponsor a child, an orphan in particular..from anywhere in the world. What really touched me was when you were talking about the children who were orphans and being raised by grandparents or aunts and uncles. This is when you challenged grandparents out there listening to these stories to step up.
And this is when it struck me.
I am not a grandparent...far from it actually...I'm 23, just out of school, and getting my start in the "real world." I thought to myself..you know what..if I could get on air and challenge some people..it would be people my age. After all, we aren't that far off in age from our own childhoods. I had an amazing childhood...so very blessed, that I often feel guilty about it when I think of these kids. Then I realize...God didn't just bless me for my sake. He blessed me so I could it turn bless others. He showed me His love, grace, and mercy so that I could show others. The Compassion project is a chance to do just that. I often hesitate in giving money in sponsorship programs such as this. I always think...why can't the rich people of this country just fork over half the loaf. We'd cover all of Africa and Asia with the money the celebs in the country make..you know?
Then I heard Dave tell us about the poor widow who put in all she had. And that is why we must give.
We live in a country that is so richly blessed. I would challenge my age group because we are at a time in our lives when we tend to be selfish. We'll pull out the "I'm broke from college loans and I'm trying to make rent" card so quickly when someone mentions money. But for some reason...we have more than a dollar to stop for a coffee or a snack or drink...hmm funny...no wait...sad. A dollar a day. I'm glad that you all say that on air. I and many others would be lying if we said we were too broke to afford that. After all...its not just any dollar, its a kingdom-building, life-changing dollar.

Hello to all!!!Wow! Lots of emails when I checked today. P-days are on Monday, but we had Stewardship meetings yesterday. So just this week and a few odd weeks later in the mission p-days will be on Tuesday or the day after we have our large meetings. So we went to the Stake Center by our flat and the Zone Leaders and the Assistants to the President taught us. We also had interviews with the President [Richards] and then we had time to go talk to Sister Richards, she was checking in on all health matters! I did tell them that we saw that Sister from their ward (Note from Diane: we met a sister missionary on Temple Square who had Sister Richards as a YW Leader President Richards maybe as Bishop). Sis. Richards guessed who it was right away. I am serving in Kingston Ward in the Logan Stake (Note from Diane: Em forgot to give us her current address, so not sure if she is in a city of Kingston). We are about 35 k south of Brisbane. My companion is Sister Lemon and she is from Utah. She has only been out for three months. But we are learning a lot together. I think for the most part I am adjusted to the time here...I still get really tired kinda early...so I just go to sleep early. Since today is p-day i might take a nap. You asked how much time we spent at the mission home...not a lot... probably about 30 minutes all together... Then off to our areas. It is a very nice home though. I don't know how often we will go up there....
I met a lot of elders going to your mission while I was in the MTC...I told them to look for any of you!
Oh Yeah! I have a list of things that I have to tell you that are funny! Australia is in a really bad water drought...and has been for years....so we can only take four minute showers. So we jump in...turn off the water..shampoo our hair and then rinse and do the same until our four minutes of water runs out!!! It is very interesting! We have a car...And I will start driving soon...Which will be interesting (Diane here: they drive on the wrong side of the road). Because a lot of the missionaries are from places that do not have cars or where you can't get drivers licenses then I guess that some of my areas will be car areas... We have 1500 k a month...That is a ton! And we have a petrol fleet card! So the mission pays for all car maintenance and gas or petrol. But we are supposed to have two days a week where we bike. We have not done that yet. Not to sure why. We should do that soon! Our ward is tiny! But the majority of the people around our area are Samoan and Tongan! They feed us lots....and even if we stop at a members house to speak with them they feed us. That is why I need to bike. We have nice bikes. They are
Giants....Well i think they are nice i have not gotten on them yet!
The birds here are really cool! You see parrots flying around! All types of them. They call maps "Refidex"...When we came in last week...we had the largest intake of missionaries in Australia Brisbane Mission history. 19 all together with the elders and the one sister that came from New Zealand. So they say that our mission turned "green"....And only about 4 went home last transfer. The stake that we are in just had girls camp. and they go camping over a weekend including Sunday. So our bishop was up at camp and I have not met him yet. I thought that was interesting! Write back and update me on your lives!
And why have the girls not written me? They can email me too! I can do email with all the family! So they should write me! Tell them that it only takes like five minutes! Well I have to get going! I miss you all and love you all lots!
Love Emily
Hope to hear from you soon!
PS...My first letter in Australia is from the McClellands! It was very nice! SO if you post this letter! Thanks to them! It was very fun to read! Oh yeah I did see all your pictures! Very fun! Love you all em.
